What you are getting

Darzi Studio is a measurement and order app for tailors. It runs in the browser at this address, installs to your home screen, and keeps working without a connection. It is free to use. If paid features ever arrive they will be clearly marked as paid before you touch them, and nothing you already saved will be held back from you.

Your work is yours

Every customer record, measurement, note and recording you make in the app belongs to you. We claim no rights over any of it, we hold no copy of it, and nothing in these terms gives us one. How your data is stored is covered in the privacy policy, which is short.

You are the tailor

The app flags a number that looks off and asks for a second look, but it obeys you, and it cannot see the customer standing in front of you. Fit, cut and the finished garment are your judgment and your responsibility. If a kameez comes out wrong, that is between you, the cloth and the customer. The app takes no blame and no credit.

The phone is the filing cabinet

Because everything lives on your device, everything depends on your device. A lost phone, a broken screen, or a browser clearing its storage to free up space can take your orders with it, and we have no backup to hand you. Export the orders you cannot afford to lose, and keep the paper book until you trust the phone.

The app is provided as is and as available, free of charge. We work to keep it accurate and dependable, and we still make no promise that it will be free of faults, available at every moment, or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, spoken or implied.

The limits of our liability

To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for lost data, lost profit, spoiled cloth or any indirect or consequential loss that comes from using the app or from being unable to use it, whether or not we were told such loss was possible. Where the law says some liability cannot be excluded, ours is limited to the amount you paid us for the app, which is nothing.

Fair use of the app

Use the app for what it is: a tool for running your shop. Do not try to break it or interfere with it for others, do not copy it and sell it as your own, and do not use it to hold information you have no right to hold. Your customers’ details are in your care, and handling them lawfully is your side of the handshake.

The app itself stays ours

The Darzi Studio name, design, code and the figure on the stage remain ours and our licensors’. These terms give you a license to use the app, not ownership of it. The license is free, worldwide, and lasts as long as these terms do. Your data is not part of that deal in either direction: the app stays ours, the orders stay yours.

Changes, and leaving

We may update the app, add outfits, fix faults or retire features. These terms may change too; the date at the top will tell you, and using the app after a change means you accept the new version. You can leave at any moment by deleting your data and closing the page. Nothing of yours stays behind, because nothing of yours was ever here.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any dispute about them belongs to the courts there. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest keep their stitching.
